Ryan Husso Suicide Seven Fields PA Obituary: Authorities in Pennsylvania are investigating a fatal domestic incident in which a 26-year-old man is alleged to have shot his 25-year-old wife before later taking his own life, according to state police.
Trooper Bertha Cazy of the Pennsylvania State Police said the investigation began in the early hours of Tuesday morning, at approximately 1:15 a.m., after officers received a call from the man’s parents, who were located out of state. Speaking to WTAE-TV, Cazy explained that the parents reported receiving a call indicating that their son had said he had killed his wife and was in a wooded area, making threats to harm himself.
Police units were immediately dispatched to the area, prompting a large-scale response as officers attempted to locate the man, later identified as Ryan Husso. When officers arrived at a residence on Graywyck Drive, in the vicinity of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, they discovered the body of 25-year-old Madeline Spatafore. Investigators confirmed she had been shot multiple times.
Law enforcement then expanded their search into nearby wooded areas. After a coordinated effort involving numerous officers, Husso was located across the township line with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have described the case as an isolated incident, indicating there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains active as authorities work to establish a full timeline of events and determine the circumstances leading up to the shootings.
The deaths have left the local community shaken, with neighbours expressing shock at the violence. Police have not released additional details about the couple but say further updates may follow as the investigation continues.
